10th Consecutive NYE at the Canoe Club Ballroom for 5 Star Events dj Greg Hodges

2006 will mark the 10th consecutive New Years Eve for Greg Hodges as disc jockey for the Canoe Club Ballroom's New Years Eve Gala celebration. The event boasts attendance of well over 350 guests, a dance floor filled to the edges and a great meal hosted by the Canoe Club Ballroom's exclusive catering service Fasano's Catering of Braintree, Massachusetts.

So what makes this event so special? It's the mix of people. Typically New Years parties are for groups of people in a similar age range. These parties, typically held at bars or nightclubs, frequently stick with one style of music than can get a bit monotonous. At the Canoe Club Ballroom, the guests range in age from 20 to 70 which encourages a wide selection of music. DJ Greg Hodges an experienced wedding dj, takes full advantage of this - weaving in and out of musical genres, keeping the dancefloor full & attendees musically satisfied.

An expected bonus for first-timers, normally comes shortly after dinner. Canoe Club owner & professional dancer, Paul Merola takes center stage and leads the attendees in a couple of fun group dances. This interactive approach brings many of the single guests out to the floor and adds to the excitement of the night. Many loyal patrons attend every year, just to take part in this unique activity.
